Welcome to AphasiaBootCamp.com. By using this website, creating an account, or making a purchase, you agree to the following terms.
Aphasia Boot Camp provides speech and language practice tools. It is a learning and practice tool and is not medical care.
This website does not provide diagnosis, treatment, or medical advice of any kind. Always consult a licensed medical or speech-language professional for diagnosis, treatment, and medical care. Nothing on this site should be relied upon as a substitute for professional medical judgment.
Aphasia Boot Camp is often used by people with communication or cognitive challenges resulting from stroke or brain injury. If you sign up and pay for your own account, you are agreeing to these terms for yourself. If you are a clinician or enterprise administrator creating or managing student accounts on behalf of others, you are responsible for agreeing to these terms on behalf of those accounts and for making sure their use of the site is appropriate and supervised. Students using an account created for them by a clinician or enterprise are not required to separately accept these terms. You must be at least 18 years old to create an Individual account, or to act as a Clinician or Enterprise Administrator.
You agree to use this site for personal or professional learning purposes only. You may not copy, share, resell, scrape, or redistribute the content, exercises, or materials on this site without written permission.
If you create an account, you are responsible for keeping your login credentials secure and for all activity that happens under your account. Notify us right away if you suspect unauthorized access.
Payments are processed securely through Stripe, a third-party payment processor. We do not store your payment card information on our own servers – Stripe handles that directly under its own security and compliance standards. All purchases are final.
If you are a clinician, you are responsible for your own clients, for how you use this tool in your practice, and for complying with any professional, licensing, or regulatory obligations that apply to you. This site is a supplementary practice tool and does not replace your professional judgment or your clients’ individualized care plans.
This site and its content are provided “as is” and “as available,” without warranties of any kind, express or implied, including warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, or non-infringement. We do not guarantee the site will be uninterrupted, error-free, or completely secure.
To the fullest extent permitted by law, Aphasia Boot Camp and its owners/operators are not liable for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages arising from your use of, or inability to use, this site. Our total liability for any claim relating to the service is limited to the amount you paid us in the twelve (12) months before the claim arose.
We may suspend or terminate your account if we believe you’ve violated these terms, misused the site, or engaged in fraudulent or abusive behavior. You may stop using the site and close your account at any time by contacting us.
You agree to indemnify and hold harmless Aphasia Boot Camp, its owners, and operators from any claims, damages, or expenses, including reasonable legal fees, arising from your use of the site, your violation of these terms, or your violation of any rights of another person or entity.
These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Arizona, without regard to conflict-of-law principles.
We may collect your name and email address (when you create an account), payment-related information as necessary to process purchases (handled by Stripe – see Section 6), and basic usage information such as which pages or features are used.
We use this information to provide and maintain access to the site, process payments and manage your account, improve the experience (for example, building custom lesson modules), and communicate with you about your account.
We do not sell your information. We share information only as necessary with service providers who help us operate the site – for example, Stripe for payments and our email delivery provider for account and notification emails – and only to the extent needed for them to perform those services.
This site is not directed at children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. Student accounts are expected to be created and managed by an adult clinician, enterprise administrator, or the individual account holder themselves.
The site may use basic cookies necessary for it to function properly, such as keeping you logged in. We do not currently use cookies for advertising purposes.
You can contact us at any time to review, update, or request deletion of your information, subject to what we need to retain for legitimate business or legal purposes such as payment records.
These terms and policies may be updated from time to time. Continued use of the site after changes take effect means you accept the updated terms.
